After much umming and ahhing I have finally, finally bought a new mobile phone Before I had this old Nokia from Mother Of Marge (in fact Retired Father has one of her old phones too!), but now I am pleased to say I own a lovely 2.0 mega pixel Panasonic VS6 http://www.panasonic.co.uk/mobile-phones/vs6/index.htm.

Now I wasn’t going to pay a fortune for it and as I am on PAYG I decided to (tentatively) dip my toe into the ebay ‘pool’.  All was well and I bought my phone for a very reasonably price and it arrived quickly too!

Otherwise known as The Marge Land Garden – yes, as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show has kicked off today I thought I would post a few pictures from my garden. (I know I need to get round to setting up an image gallery! )

This is an azalea in the in the north face of the back garden. I just love the bright colour of the flowers.

Here is a photo of from the south facing border in the back garden. You can see a beautiful bay tree in a half barrel (grown from a small plant about 5 years ago), and some lovely flowering giant chives. I frequently use the chives in cooking, especially in potato salad!

And of course I could not forget updating you on the chillies. I have had to be ruthless and have removed any plants that have not produced any fruits, though I am pleased to say this has left me with about 15 good plants. As you can see the fruits themselves are quite long and thin, I think this means they are the hot birds eye chillies.
