And so the Pesach cleaning continues at Casa Marge. The downstairs has been done except for one Chometz room (ie a room where leavened, non kosher le Pesach foods can be prepared and eaten), which means eating meals is a bit like camping without the tent part.
Yesterday was Changeover Day – the kitchen is now kosher for Pesach (and boy, did it take some work!) Today I am having a day off – I earned it!

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again – oy a clog! 
Yes, Pesach will be here in a matter of weeks (eek and double lawks!
) The Pesach cleaning has begun in earnest at Marge Land. I have been concentrating on the upstairs of Casa Marge, and so far I have cleaned the very room where this blog is updated (including shampooing carpets – go Vax!)
Bedrooms have been cleaned from top to bottom, carpets, woodwork … the list goes on. The thing is the downstairs is where things really get busy. I have a feeling the kitchen isn’t just going to be cleaned but reorganised as well – which reminds me I must make sure I have my supply of emergency gin!
As things progress I shall post updates and naturally there will be some lovely recipes to follow too.
