They said it couldn’t be done, or rather I had misgivings following a couple of disastrous attempts, but yes, here they are in all their glory: the chillies of 2007 from il giardino della terra del marge! (… not forgetting Retired Father holding the chillies in a bunch. Ta for all your help Dad)

And here are the chillies again in close up. This is a proud moment in Marge Land history.

What ho everyone! I thought you would be interested to see the latest chilli pic. The weather here has been crazy (grey, cloudy and rain one minute (even hail yesterday!), and sunny the next), however this has not stopped the chillis from ripening and looking fabulous.

I picked a few chillis yesterday and also some bay leaves. I gave the chillis and bay leaves a good wash and soak to get all the *ahem* ‘mobile protein’ and dirt off. The results are splendid (see underneath). I like to use the bay leaves when making chicken soup … but what to do with the chillis?
